Nightmares

"Bigwig?"
The buck shifted around.
"Bigwig!"
"Ugh... What?" He growled, sitting up a bit. It was Threar.
"It's Hyzenthay again... She's having her nightmares...." He looked concerned. Bigwig nodded. Ever since the battle with Efrafa, she'd been having night terrors and unable to sleep. Bigwig had to be there with her for her to calm down.

He heaved himself up and went into the burrow. The doe was thrashing. He loped over, putting a paw on her. "Wake up, Hyzenthay."
She jumped, jerking. She turned her head, seeing Bigwig. She immediately began to cry. "Oh, Bigwig! It... it was him. It was Woundwort. And you were there... And Blackavar... They were torturing you, Bigwig, right in front of me. They were killing you both right there in front of me for abandoning the warren... Bigwig..." she sobbed.

"Shh. He's dead. We're safe." Bigwig stared at the wall. He understood. He still had nightmares, himself, but they weren't as bad as her's.
